Chun li vs. Mai Shiranui by satoopid Chun li vs. Mai Shiranui by satoopid
Probably overdue.

A collision between the fight genre's original queens of fighters. I wanted to save myself from drawing stuff like this until I become legitimate pro at lineart, but wanted to give it a shot today.

My drawing style is a lot different when I draw fast vs. when I take my time. Also when I draw action scenes vs. when I draw poses. The limbs are less curvaceous but overall plumper (if that makes any sense), and faces not as mature.

The last Chun li vs. Cammy sketch (currently undergoing an overhaul) had some Cammy fans a bit upset, so I went with a bit more neutral scene. As much as I like drawing women get their bells rung, I like the neutral scene almost as much.

Ahh... Chun-Li! You've captured her gorgeous thighs and bust. I'm also impressed by the dynamic poses you've given both characters. My criticism is that Chun-Li's mouth and nose do not appear to line up.

With your artstyle, Mai looks different than most of her official art. You've given hear a slightly broader frame. Not that I'm complaining: I absolutely love a strong and toned female body with an hourglass figure!:D Mai here actually reminds me of the Cutey Honey anime of the 90's. [link]

Really nice and I like how your art is evolving. Two heavyweights indeed! I think you have a very unique style and it compliments fight scenes rather nicely. This size of character is perfect, I think in other ones, some of the curves (read breasts!) were over the top but it didn't stop the style being likeable and unique. I for one love your work as well as the fact you apply it to women fighting - the kind of artist i treasure the most!

Do you have plans to get into simple background development yet? My opinion on this is that its good to go - the style is so unique, they would make some excellent comics as well.
